Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DTS Tactical ("we," "us") collects through this website (Seatcall), why we collect it, and how it's handled.

What This Site Is For

This site lets you purchase a seat to attend a live product review webinar. After each webinar, one seat holder is selected at random to receive the featured item as a thank-you for attending - a gesture of appreciation to those who came, not what your payment buys.

Information We Collect

• Contact information: your name, email address, and phone number, collected when you create an account, which is required in order to book a seat.
• Order information: which webinar and seat(s) you purchased, and the amount paid.
• Account information: if you create an account, a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password).
• Billing address: your street address, city, state, and zip. You enter this into the payment form at checkout, where it goes to Priority Commerce for the card issuer's fraud (AVS) check. If you also save an address to your account, we keep a copy to pre-fill checkout for you next time.
• Technical information: your IP address, used briefly and automatically to prevent abuse (like repeated login attempts) - these records expire and are deleted automatically; we don't use them for tracking or advertising.
• Display name: an optional name you can set on your account, shown in place of your real name on screen during a live webinar when seat holders are listed. If you don't choose one, we show your first name and last initial instead. Your real name is never displayed publicly. Because that on-screen listing can be captured in a recording of the webinar, your display name may also appear in the video review afterwards - see Webinar Recordings below.

We use no advertising pixels and sell no data. We do use Vercel's privacy-focused analytics to count page views, measure page speed, and count how many people reach each step of checkout or start a video - which tells us where the site is awkward to use. These counts are anonymous and aggregated and set no cookies. What is recorded alongside an event is limited to a number of seats or a video format; it never includes your name, email address, account or any other detail that could identify you.

How We Use Your Information

• To process your seat purchase and confirm your spot in a webinar.
• To let you log in and manage your account and order history.
• To contact you about a webinar you've registered for.
• If your seat is randomly selected to receive the featured item, to contact you about arranging pickup.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access to accounts.

Payment Information

Card payments are processed by Priority Commerce, which also operates as MX Merchant. The payment form you see at checkout is not part of this website: it is served and controlled by Priority and embedded into the page. Your card number, expiry date and security code are entered into their form and sent directly to them.

This means card details are never handled by this website's own code and never reach our servers, so we have nothing to store, log or lose. Once a payment completes, Priority tells us only the transaction reference, the amount, and the card brand and last four digits - never the full card number.

Priority's payment form offers to auto-complete your billing address. If you use that feature, what you type into the address field is sent to Google Maps by Priority to generate suggestions. Typing your address manually avoids this.

If you have an account, you can choose to save a card at checkout for future purchases. The card itself is stored by Priority, not by us - we keep only a reference id pointing to it, and we never see the full card number at any point. Saved cards are shown inside Priority's payment form when you check out signed in, and you can remove one there yourself. A saved card stays on file until you remove it or ask us to delete your account. If you can't get to the payment form - for example when no webinar is currently open for booking - contact us and we'll remove it for you. Saving a card is always optional; nothing is saved unless you choose it.

Webinar Recordings

We record short video reviews from our webinars and make them available to the people who held a seat at that webinar, on the Videos tab of their account. Each one is deleted automatically 30 days after it is published, and the date it becomes unavailable is shown alongside it.

Customers and attendees are not filmed. These recordings show the item being reviewed and our own staff presenting it. No attendee's face or voice is captured.

One thing to be aware of, though: during a live webinar the seat holders are listed on screen, and a recording may include that listing. What appears there is the display name you chose, or your first name and last initial if you didn't choose one - never your full name, email address or any other detail. If you would rather not have a name of yours appear at all, set a display name on your account before the webinar.

Videos are stored with Vercel and are served from a long, unguessable web address. That address is not itself password-protected, so anyone given the link could open the video while it still exists. We don't publish those links anywhere, and they stop working once the video is deleted.

Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this site:

• Vercel - website hosting, database, and storage of images and webinar videos. Vercel also provides us with the anonymous, aggregated traffic, page-speed and usage statistics described above. These do not use cookies and do not identify you.
• Priority Commerce (MX Merchant) - payment processing and secure storage of any saved cards.
• Google - only if you use the billing address auto-complete inside Priority's payment form, as described above.
• Resend - sends your order confirmation email.

Cookies & Browser Storage

This site uses two cookies of its own, both strictly to keep you signed in: one for customer accounts and one for admin access. Neither is used for tracking or advertising, and both expire automatically.

It also saves two things in your browser's own storage, neither of which is sent to us or used for tracking. The first is the date you confirmed you are 21 or older, so you aren't asked again every visit for 30 days. The second, while you are choosing seats, is a record of the reservation you are holding - which webinar, which seats, and when the reservation runs out - so that refreshing the page doesn't lose your seats. It contains no personal information, it is discarded when you close the tab, and clearing your browser data removes both.

The payment form embedded at checkout is operated by Priority Commerce and may use its own cookies or browser storage to run the payment securely. That is governed by their privacy practices, not ours.

Data Retention & Your Choices

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us below. Deleting your account also removes any card saved against it at Priority. Order records tied to a completed purchase are kept for our business and accounting records even if the associated account is deleted. You're also welcome to ask what information we have on file for you.

Age Requirement

This site and its webinars are restricted to adults 21 years of age or older. You must confirm your age before accessing this site. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
